Yuwa Nepal Samiti

In any nation, the youth represent both its present and its future. The interests, values, and mindset of the younger generation are pivotal in shaping the direction of the country's progress, development, and growth. Today, the youth of Nepal face numerous challenges that hinder their potential. High unemployment rates, limited access to quality education, and a lack of professional opportunities have led many young people to seek work abroad, resulting in a significant brain drain. The absence of career guidance, combined with the pressures of modern consumerism, has distanced many young people from their roots, eroding traditional values and cultural identity. In addition, the rising influence of social media and Western culture has further contributed to confusion regarding their own cultural heritage and values. The lack of awareness about their role in social and national development is another critical issue, leading to apathy and disengagement from societal matters.

The neglect of Nepal’s youth not only affects individuals but has broader national repercussions. A disempowered and underutilized youth population limits the country’s growth potential, slowing down economic progress. The mass migration of young talent to foreign countries deprives Nepal of a skilled workforce, hindering national development and innovation. Additionally, the disengagement of youth from social, political, and cultural arenas leads to a weakening of societal values, an erosion of community spirit, and a lack of national pride. This negligence has created a vacuum in leadership and creativity, preventing Nepal from advancing on a global scale.

Yuwa Nepal Samiti aims to address these pressing issues through a multi-faceted approach. By instilling the values of "Sanskar, Sanskriti, and Swabhiman," Yuwa Nepal Samiti aims to cultivate a strong sense of national pride and social responsibility among the youth. . By fostering pride in their roots, the youth can develop a strong sense of identity and belonging. The aim is to make them self-reliant and to create opportunities within Nepal, reducing the need for migration. By instilling these values, the organization seeks to empower every young individual to attain the wisdom needed to contribute to the creation of a self-sufficient, prosperous, healthy, and disease-free Nepal.
